Welcome Statement

Welcome to the website of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and its single-largest ministry, Our Lady of Lourdes School! This site is an interactive portal for your use – into the life of our parish, its ministries, and the opportunities afforded you to be as active a member of our parish as you are able!

For you who are “guests” to this site – it is my hope that what you are seeking is easily found and that appropriate connections are made!

We are a parish of long-standing (1909) in the Historic Irvington area, and reach into the Christian Park and Bosart-Brown neighborhoods. We are a part of the Eastside. We are a member of the Eastside Catholic Cohort and the East Deanery of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. We are closely associated with the Irvington Association of Ministers. Our reach is inward and outward – spiritually, personally, prayerfully, societally, ecumenically.

We are rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our faith and worship tradition is Roman Catholic. Our hope is for salvation – in and through the power of God who is Trinity. And of course, we have a special devotion to Mary as Our Lady of Lourdes, and St. Bernadette Soubirous to whom Our Lady appeared.

Please enjoy your journey through the many facets of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Community!

Fr. Rick
