Think Harry Potter’s Gryffindor but with alignment to the Franciscan Virtues of our foundresses, the good Sisters of St. Francis. Four houses compete in a variety of challenges which draw out students’ many talents such as science, athletics, strategizing, engineering, the arts, and others. Our Houses are St. Francis, Daniel (of the lion’s den), St. Thomas a’Becket, and Theresa (Hackelmeier, who founded the motherhouse and a Catholic school in the Indiana wilderness in what is now Oldenburg in 1851).
