Our 3- and 4-year-old program is a vibrant part of our mission. At Our Lady of Lourdes, children are seen as whole persons made in the image of God.

    In the early years, teaching focuses on developing a sense of wonder and joy. Our 4’s Preschool teacher, Mary Ellen Morris, holds a Masters in Early Childhood Education and has 19 years of teaching experience, 16 of which have been here at OLL.

    Whole-Child Education
    Our program embraces developmentally appropriate practices for young children, with an emphasis on hands-on learning experiences that integrate math, literacy, and science concepts. The classroom routine is structured to allow opportunities for social interactions, building new friendships, and fostering independence.

    7:45 – 3:00 PM (doors open at 7:30 AM)
    All-day (Monday through Friday)

    What is the age requirement for preschool?
    Children must be 3 years of age and potty-trained by August 1.

    Do preschool students wear uniforms?
    Preschoolers are not required to wear a school uniform; however, appropriate clothing and shoes for playing and learning are expected.

    What lunch options are available for full-day preschool students?
    The cafeteria is available for full-day preschoolers and consists of several different food options, including fresh fruits and vegetables. Milk is available for purchase by students who bring their lunches or during snack time. Free and reduced lunch prices are available for families who apply and qualify.
