The sacraments of the Catholic Church are seven sacred rites instituted by Jesus Christ, serving as visible signs of God’s invisible grace, through which Catholics encounter God’s love and presence. They are central to the Church’s spiritual life, marking key moments in a believer’s journey from birth to death, fostering communion with God and the Church community. Each sacrament conveys specific graces, strengthens faith, and deepens the recipient’s relationship with Christ.
