We have a systematic approach within a three-tiered system of managing the classroom climate. This approach is rooted in our school vision:\u00a0 One Community. Living Faithfully. Leading Academically. It is grounded in brain research and best-practices for addressing trauma-affected students, which are also best practices for all students. For more details, see the family handbook on the \u201cParents\u201d page.<br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-d9e7fbe );\"><br \/>Other systems in place to cultivate a peaceful and joyful learning environment are:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Expectation stations for common space procedures (hallways, cafeteria, church, etc.)<\/span><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><i><a href=\"https:\/\/toogoodprograms.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u><b>Too Good for Drug and Violence<\/b><\/u><\/a>\u00a0<\/i>lessons offered bi-weekly by Mrs. Tina Page, our assistant principal and school counselor \u2013 these help students learn how to explicitly choose to avoid violent conflict and poor health choices<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monthly Lifelines, an emphasis each month on a practice, trait, or belief that leads us closer to living the life Jesus intends for us (ex:\u00a0 hope, empathy, responsibility)<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our system of supporting appropriate student behavior is focused on ensuring that teaching, learning, and relationships are able to grow productively.
